About the Facilitator: Originally from Austin, Texas, Arlette Moody has extensive training and experience in teaching movement. She studied dance at the University of Texas, where she also began her Pilates training. Â Â Once Arlette relocated to the Seattle area, she became a certified Pilates instructor and in 2003 started Studio Bliss, a pilates based home studio. Â When the pandemic hit the area, Arlette wanted to deepen her connection of movement using Chinese principles and became a student of qigong. Â First she learned online with virtual workshops and videos, then she was recommended to work with Debbie Leung, founder of Chinese Healing and Movement Arts in Olympia. Â Arlette has been learning Liangong, which comes from Qigong forms from Debbie Leung since the fall of 2020. Â Her mission is to help people find a deeper connection to themselves and help instill practices of self care which can be practiced into our maturing years.
