Purple Lights Project for October Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Vashon’s uptown district will glow purple this October 2021 for the DOVE Project’s “We Believe Survivors” campaign for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This is our third year working with local island businesses to raise awareness and share support for survivors of domestic violence, stringing purple lights and “We Believe Survivors” signs in over 50 island storefronts. We appreciate all our community members who are showing their support for survivors this October.

Purple lights will start on Friday, October 1 and be up through the month. We would love to see you at our Arts Walk event at the DOVE Project as well, featuring works from local artists, outdoor snacks and live music from 6pm - 9pm on the 1st.
